Financial Aid, Explained Simply
Every family who applies for financial aid is reviewed individually and confidentially — there is no one-size-fits-all number. We work with you to find a tuition level that fits your household budget, so cost is never the reason a Jewish education is out of reach.
New families also qualify for additional first-year scholarships, and our admissions team will walk you through every option before you commit to anything.

Tuition That Scales With Your Family
We know tuition is often the biggest barrier to a Jewish day school education, so IHDS uses sliding-scale pricing based on household need — not a rigid published rate that prices families out before they even apply.
Many of our families receive some level of assistance. Ask us during your tour how sliding-scale pricing could work for your household.

Why Families Choose IHDS
Real financial aid, and a school that makes it easy to access.

Confidential, Individualized Financial Aid
Every application is reviewed one-on-one, with a tuition level built around your household’s actual budget — not a flat, published rate.
New-Family Scholarships
Families new to IHDS qualify for additional first-year scholarship support on top of standard financial aid.
Sliding-Scale Tuition
Tuition is set relative to household need, so many families pay meaningfully less than the sticker price.
Hebrew Immersion From Day One
Dedicated Hebrew immersion class time every day in TK through 2nd grade, while children are at their most receptive to a new language.
Text-Based Jewish Studies
Students learn straight from the sources, gaining the tools to live Jewishly no matter their family’s level of observance.
A 6:1 Student-to-Teacher Ratio
Small classes, plus a dedicated resource specialist and student counselor on staff, so every child is genuinely known and supported.
A Warm, Tight-Knit Community
Families here know one another. New parents are welcomed in quickly, and friendships carry well beyond the school day.
Programs From TK to 5th Grade
Every program blends rigorous general studies with meaningful Hebrew, Jewish and Zionist education, built around each child’s own pace and curiosity.
